In the 29th century, the Divine Nation, ruled by the Prophet "Ihwa," and the Nation of Snakes, "Usa," are locked in a prolonged war. Lee Hwan-mae, commander of the Divine Nation's most elite massacre squad, Maerangukjuk, discovers a prophesied future in Gwan-chang—a young officer who had quietly kept a low profile while pursuing only the righteous path. However, the future reflected in Ihwa's eyes is a living disaster, one destined to drench the entire Western continent in blood. “You are a black swan. A black swan that will bring an extreme shock no one could have foreseen. That is you.” To forge a path of survival out of certain death, Lee Hwan-mae keeps the captive Gwan-chang by his side. First as an interpreter, then as a business partner, and gradually... as an inescapable presence. “So listen to me carefully, Gwan-chang.” One who seeks to overturn destiny, and one who is unwittingly led by that hand. The future these two write together begins to burn hotter than any prophecy.
