The Crazy Ex-Boyfriend

The Crazy Ex-Boyfriend summary: Rhys, the perfect beta boyfriend I met for the first time after a tumultuous relationship.I spent happy days with Rhys, who was also my first boyfriend, but soonI began to notice suspicious things about him.He hadn't introduced me to a single close friend, and I had never seen any of his work, even though he claimed to be a sculptor. He even went so far as to disappear for a few days every two months.“Isn’t that cheating?”“He might be leading a double life.”As the disastrous ends of my past relationships came to mind,Dante couldn't control his anxiety and brought up the topic of breaking up.We continued to hold onto each other, only to repeat the cycle of breaking up. Then, oneday—just before our fourth anniversary—after I suggested breaking up for the twenty-first time,Rhys’s attitude, which had always been nothing but submissive, completely changed.“…You never showed me this side of yourself when we were dating.”“You said men weren’t your type. Didn’t you date me because I accommodated you without complaint?”What on earth was the point of our relationships all this time?On top of that… what kind of illness is it that a cold ex-boyfriend looks sexier?I can’t give up like this. I will get Lease back, even if it means becoming a pathetic ex-boyfriend. +
